The Creative Work Fund is a grantmaking program of the Walter and Elise Haas Fund that invites San Francisco Bay Area artists and nonprofit organizations to create new art works through collaborations. Attend an informational session in-person or via webinar to learn more and ask questions about applying for the fund’s 2016 cycle.
Between now and March 1, 2016, the Creative Work Fund invites letters of inquiry for projects featuring performing artists or visual artists who are developing new work through collaborations with nonprofit organizations. Applicant artists and nonprofits must be based in one of 11 greater San Francisco Bay Area counties. Grants range from $10,000 to $40,000. In this free session, Program Director Frances Phillips describes the program’s guidelines, walks potential applicants through the application process, and shares insights into successful letters and projects.
