Representatives of nonprofit organizations and individual artists interested in learning how to apply to the Creative Work Fund for its 2013-14 cycle are invited to attend this informational session.
The director of the Creative Work Fund will describe guidelines, the grantmaking process, and respond to questions from potential applicants.
The Creative Work Fund is a grantmaking program that invites San Francisco Bay Area artists and nonprofit organizations to create new art works through collaborations. In 2013, the Fund invites requests from collaborations featuring literary artists or performing artists. Artists and nonprofits in the following 11 counties are eligible: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma. Grants range in size from $10,000 to $40,000.
