The Foundation Center is excited to announce the September
20, 2010 launch of a new online database, Tools and Resources for Assessing
Social Impact (TRASI),* which contains a
comprehensive collection of more than 150 approaches to measuring and analyzing
social impact for programs and investments.
Please join us for a Virtual Meet & Greet event on
Wednesday, September 22, 2:00-4:00 pm EDT, on our TRASI Community web page.
This will be an opportunity for practitioners to connect with peers and meet
some of the experts behind TRASI, who will be on hand 2:00-3:00 pm in a live
chat session to answer questions about social impact assessment.
Sign-up and become part of the TRASI Community today. Once a member,
you can register to participate in our Virtual Meet & Greet. You may also
RSVP for the virtual event by sending an email with your name and organization
to rsvp@foundationcenter.org.
More information about TRASI:
In addition to the
searchable database of assessment tools—which were authored by a range of
organizations, including social investors, foundations, NGOs, microfinance
institutions, and others seeking social change—the TRASI web portal will provide
videos, podcasts, articles, an expert section, and a social networking page for
connecting with peers.
