The James Irvine Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2009 James Irvine Foundation Leadership Awards, which recognize and support California leaders who are advancing innovative and effective solutions to significant state issues. Recipients receive $125,000 in organizational support, plus assistance with communications to policymakers and practitioners about their successful models. Nominations are due by January 16, 2009, and award recipients will be announced in the summer of 2009. To submit a nomination, please visit http://www.irvine.org/leadershipAwards/.
