We have witnessed this up close through monitoring and evaluating 49 giving day campaigns as part of the Knight Foundation’s Giving Day Initiative and through advising the Sacramento Region Community Foundation on its BIG Day of Giving.

East Bay Gives 2017, a 24-hour online giving day that supports the important work of the region’s nonprofits, will take place on Thursday, May 4, 2017, the East Bay Community Foundation announced today. For the 4th annual day of giving, East Bay Gives aims to mobilize more than 15,000 people to give $5 million to support 1,000 nonprofits in East Bay, Silicon Valley and San Francisco.
